Kura-Kura Bus is a public shuttle bus service connecting popular tourist areas in Bali daily from 9:00 until 23:00 (depending on the line). The main hub is our DFS Bus Bay, located at Jl. Bypass Ngurah Rai, Simpang Siur Junction in Kuta.

3 and 7-Day Passes are available and are activated from the date you first tap the card machine on the bus. One person can use Day Passes at a time only.

One day is calculated as 24 hours from the time the card is first activated when tapping the card machine. For example, if you tap a 1-Day Pass at 15:00 on 1st April, the card will be valid until 15:00 on 2nd April.

* Prices for Day Passes exclude a refundable Card Deposit of Rp. 20,000

* All prices are in Indonesian Rupiah, inclusive of 10% VAT

Card Deposit

A Card Deposit of Rp. 20,000 is required when purchasing a Day Pass. This deposit can be refunded within 12 months from the date of first activation at DFS Bus Bay and Kura-Kura Ticket Booths.

How to ride

Hop on a Kura-Kura Bus at one of the designated bus stops located at shopping malls and major hotels in popular resort areas. Tickets can be bought in the form of a Kura-Kura Coin or Kura-Kura Card.

Kura-Kura Card: Tap your card on the card machine located near the door.

Kura-Kura Coin: Drop your coin in the box located near the door.

• Conditions for using Kura-Kura Bus

All Kura-Kura buses are non-smoking. Please kindly note the following restrictions:

No Littering - No Smoking – No food – No Durians -  No spitting – No surf-boards – No pets – No weapons

• Child Policy

Each child 6 years and under accompanied by an adult can travel free of charge. If one parent has 2 children under 6 years, only 1 will be free - the other child will be charged normal price.

Please note that proof of age may be required. Children 7 years and over will be charged normal price.

• Baggage Allowance

One item of hand luggage is allowed per person. Please check the size prior to traveling, as baggage that exceeds the maximum size will not be permitted on the bus.

• Insurance

All passengers are insured during their travels on Kura-Kura Bus in accordance with conditions of MSIG travel accident insurance. Limit of Liability per person is as follows:

Traffic congestion due to bad weather or road closures for religious ceremonies is commonplace in Bali. We aim to run our bus service as efficiently as possible, however delays can sometimes be experienced due to circumstances beyond our control.

Please kindly note that Kura-Kura is not liable for any losses caused by delays in service. It is recommended to try and make allowance for possible delays when planning your trip.
